Podcast production

During the first weeks of 2021, I had a great pleasure to collaborate with the team of the Sigmund Freud Museum on their brand new podcast called ‘Freud in Focus’. Run in a discussion format and presented by Tom DeRose and Jamie Ruers, the podcast looks in-depth at some of Freud’s key texts.

The first episode just launched yesterday receiving fantastic responses from listeners, so if you are interested you can listen to it here directly from the museum website or streaming platforms like Spotify or Apple Podcasts.

As we are all still in lockdown, the recording had to take place remotely. I've recorded a preview of the discussion via Zoom, while the master sound files were captured individually on the speaker's computers. These separate files were then cleaned and mastered; I reduced the noise, removed clicks and mixed the recordings together using Adobe Audition software. The file was exported to mp.3 and finally uploaded to the museum's website and several streaming platforms for your pleasure.
